Rebecca's Recommendations - November 10, 2005

10 November 2005

By Rebecca Liggero

Welcome back to Rebecca's Recommendations! This week has been a crazy one for me. I just came back from NYC's Ad-Tech, "the #1 event for interactive marketing", and now I’m in San Diego visiting my sister. I can't wait to get back to the office so I can get my hands on 1,000+ new email messages. No, really. I can't wait. Anyway, today I’m going to tell you about three November promos that really caught my eye. First, Monaco Gold would like to give their players a chance to win two airline tickets to Monaco. All you have to do is sign up at Monaco Gold anytime before November 27th to receive a free raffle ticket. Even better, if you make your first deposit before November 27th, you will receive three extra raffle tickets. The raffle closes on Sunday, November 27th, and the winner, hopefully one of you, will be notified personally on November 30th. Good luck, my friends.

Second, The Jackpot Factory Group, representing All Slots Casino and First Web Casino amongst others, is celebrating their sixth birthday this month. According to The Jackpot Factory's spokesperson David Brickman, "It's our birthday, but we're giving the presents to our players!" The Jackpot Factory Group will be giving away over $180,000 in cash prizes, running a $6,000 per day slots challenge promo, and running a weekly raffle that is open to both players and visitors all in the month of November. In addition to this generous promo, both All Slots Casino and First Web Casino have arranged an exclusive offer for Casino City players only- open a real account today and claim $15 free, no strings attached.

Lastly, The River Belle Online Casino is running an "It's a Pleasure" promo throughout the month of November. I love this idea! Check it out- there are five prizes to be won, each representing one of the five senses: hear a $2,500 show, taste a $2,500 meal (Um, yeah. I bet that would be one hell of a tasty meal), touch a $2,500 pampering session, smell $2,500 in fragrances, and see $15,000 in daily spot prizes. Oh, and for some bizarre and ungodly reason you don't like the prizes, winners can choose to take the cash instead.

Rebecca Liggero

Rebecca Liggero, a native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, has always loved meeting new people, building relationships, and traveling the world – perfect qualities for someone who, since early 2005, has won many friends and influenced countless people in the worldwide online gaming community.

After graduating from Bates College with a degree in psychology, Rebecca spent four years in Washington, DC, working in relationship management, dreaming all the while about someday making it big in online gaming. After turning down an opportunity to live in New Zealand, she moved back to Boston and signed on as Senior Account Manager for Casino City – the beginning of a dream come true!

Rebecca’s work on behalf of Casino City (and later for the GPWA as well) took her to trade shows and conferences everywhere – Amsterdam, Barcelona, Costa Rica, Montreal, London, Las Vegas, Macau and many other ports of call – and along the way she began chronicling her incredible around-the-clock adventures in a wildly entertaining and industry-savvy weekly column that quickly became – and still remains – must reading for everyone who is anyone in online gaming. Following almost three years with the Casino City team, Rebecca spent a few months at Everest Affiliates where she was the Brand Manager of the affiliate program. While working on “the other side,” she realized that she truly missed her weekly column and the affiliate side of the business and decided to return to the Casino City family.

One and a half years later, Rebecca resigned from Casino City and joined industry icon Calvin Ayre to serve as the Bodog Global Brand Ambassador and the head on-site reporter for the online gambling industry tablog, CalvinAyre.com. In her new capacity, Rebecca continues to travel the world, and when asked where she is based, her response is usually "on an airplane."
