Rebecca's Recommendations - December 1, 2005

1 December 2005

By Rebecca Liggero

Welcome back! Right now I’m on a plane to Costa Rica that left- yes, left- Boston at 5:50am. Painful. It’s OK though because Bodog is based in Costa Rica and I will be picked up at the airport by the manager of the Bodog Calling Center (no, the manager is not one of the ridiculously hot "Bodog girls"- sorry). Not only that, but I will also be treated to a night out on the town with the Bodog team. Oh my god. More stories later. Anyway, today I have a random assortment of news to report. First, I must ask for you to take a trip to New York City (if you do not already live there) between now and January 1st. Why? Because Casino City is running an advertisement on the HUGE CBS television screen in Times Square during that time frame. The screen is located on 42nd street between 7th and 8th avenues and our 15 second ad will run 8 times an hour on this screen. Please click here for a preview. How fun is that? You know, I’m a little disappointed that Rebecca’s Recommendations is not mentioned, but what can you do? Just kidding.

Next I would like to tell you about a new game that will appeal to those of you who enjoy the finer things in life. AusVegas Online Casino recently released the new and flashy “Lap of Luxury” five reel slot. You must check out the swanky ad I have placed here - I mean if that does not get your attention, I’m not sure if anything will. The graphics featured on "Lap of Luxury" consist of expensive and designer products such as gold watches and Lamborghinis which are accompanied by crisp sounds of "bling bling" (worst slang phrase ever- sorry). Oh, and if you are able to spin up five diamonds, you could win up to $20,000. Too bad you can’t win the Lamborghini...

Speaking of slots, two new and highly original slot games have been added to the Casinova Software affiliated casinos including Slots Alley and Magic Trump, amongst others. "Sweets Slot" and "Sum Like it Hot" (no, it’s not what your thinking) were both created with the intention of stirring up interactive excitement for players like you. If you love candy, cookies, and bonus games, "Sweets Slot" is the game for you. If you love sex and porn – I mean chili peppers and fire – you should check out "Sum Like it Hot", a 9-line multi-coin video bonus slot that really turns up the heat. Trust me.

Lastly, I must announce the fourth birthday of City Club Casino that will be taking place on Sunday, December 4th. To celebrate, City Club Casino will be offering all players a 100% cash back bonus of up to $400 on this special day. You can do a lot with $400- enjoy! Don’t forget that City Club also offers two HUGE welcome bonuses- for more details, please click here.

Rebecca Liggero

Rebecca Liggero, a native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, has always loved meeting new people, building relationships, and traveling the world – perfect qualities for someone who, since early 2005, has won many friends and influenced countless people in the worldwide online gaming community.

After graduating from Bates College with a degree in psychology, Rebecca spent four years in Washington, DC, working in relationship management, dreaming all the while about someday making it big in online gaming. After turning down an opportunity to live in New Zealand, she moved back to Boston and signed on as Senior Account Manager for Casino City – the beginning of a dream come true!

Rebecca’s work on behalf of Casino City (and later for the GPWA as well) took her to trade shows and conferences everywhere – Amsterdam, Barcelona, Costa Rica, Montreal, London, Las Vegas, Macau and many other ports of call – and along the way she began chronicling her incredible around-the-clock adventures in a wildly entertaining and industry-savvy weekly column that quickly became – and still remains – must reading for everyone who is anyone in online gaming. Following almost three years with the Casino City team, Rebecca spent a few months at Everest Affiliates where she was the Brand Manager of the affiliate program. While working on “the other side,” she realized that she truly missed her weekly column and the affiliate side of the business and decided to return to the Casino City family.

One and a half years later, Rebecca resigned from Casino City and joined industry icon Calvin Ayre to serve as the Bodog Global Brand Ambassador and the head on-site reporter for the online gambling industry tablog, CalvinAyre.com. In her new capacity, Rebecca continues to travel the world, and when asked where she is based, her response is usually "on an airplane."
